Great photos and article, Joe. You never responded to my (FB) message regarding, "Adaptogenic" mushrooms? It is in this coffee called "Ryze." I ordered 30 days worth - though it has not arrived yet. What do you think? RYZE SUPERFOODS Mushroom Coffee USDA Organic with 6 Adaptogenic Mushrooms and MCT Oil, USA Grown Instant Coffee for Better Energy, Focus, Digestion, Immunity with Lions Mane & Turkey Tail, 30 servings.
I think my mom takes that. I've heard of it before. Only ever tried reishi powder mixed with tea for improved sleeping and lion's mane for brain health (I felt like my thoughts/focus, memories, and dreams were improved - but not sure if placebo). I eat whole lion's mane as a meat substitute sometimes (pulled pork, karaage, satay) - very good texture! There are definite benefits, but some of the larger companies I think overhype or use a disproportionate amount of mycelial grain over the pure mushroom / fruiting body as it's not as economical. Sry, didn't see your FB message - I'm not on FB often! Curious if you notice any effects from RYZE.
Fantastic work, great shots. Loved reading about the process too.
So cool! Wonderful.
