Hidden Wonders in Sabah: Exploring Kinabalu Park | Part III
A final foray at Kinabalu Park and the species found.
For my last outing at Kinabalu Park, I made my way up the steps towards the ticket booth. Upon seeing me, the lady lit up with a recognizing smile and urged me on inside with no need to pay entrance as I’ve now become a “regular.”
I decided to revisit a section of the Silau-Silau Trail from the first day, take a fork to the western part of the park, and hike up and over the Kiau View trail.
A powdery, porous Pulveroboletus made an appearance, and I’d find a few more along the route. I’m used to seeing yellow ones that bruise blue from my forays at Wawasan.
