Looks like we need to pay to make a comment in the new year. Hope you get many paying subscribers. Your newsletter is worth it!
Those unidentified honeycombs remind me a lot of Mycena lazulina! No reply necessary! I shan't comment anymore but I still will be liberal with the likes!
Oops! The comment section for all these posts should be open (not paid). I will update these settings - thanks for pointing that out (I think Substack has a mind of it's own sometimes).. And comment away Michael - I appreciate it :) The only section that is paid is my macro photography tips section (which is new - but will be added to this year). Cheers and happy 2024!
Maybe you should consider going paid! Am I right about the winsome Honeycombs and lovely Lazulina? They seem so like. Thanks for the New Year's wishes and mine to you as well!
Definitely morphological similarities between the two. Whenever I find these tiny clover-like Mycenaceae I get excited. In a later post I’ll share the yellow ones I found :)
This account made for great reading and those mushrooms! Those Lazulina! You saved the best for last! We have to redefine our concepts of beauty, grace, elegance, and wonder beholding this small world. "Endless forms- most beautiful." Alas for all the commercialization and privatization.
